Casey Britts, RD (She/Her/Hers)

Registered Dietitian

Casey has extensive training in medical nutrition therapy and specializes in the  treatment of eating disorders with adolescents and adults. Casey takes a holistic, non-diet, weight-inclusive approach to nutrition. She draws from a Health at Every Size & Intuitive Eating informed approach. Casey believes that health is measured by a multitude of factors, weight being a marginal marker of health. She works with clients to understand how best to support their health goals, focusing on mind, body, and soul.

She teaches the principles and practices of Intuitive Eating, which encompasses honoring one’s bodies signals, reducing guilt and/or food rules, breaking free from diet culture, and engaging in body-focused holistic healthcare.

She prioritizes meeting each client or family where they are at in their recovery journey. She uses a flexible approach to eating disorder support in order to meet each client at their current readiness for change and desired pacing of care. She believes that the best outcomes result from a collaborative and cohesive approach to setting nutrition goals. She emphasizes working together with clients and their support systems to create individualized nutrition therapy sessions in order to encourage lifelong healthy relationships with food.

At Cypress, Casey provides individual nutrition counseling, nutrition education groups, and meal support for clients and their loved ones.
