Tylynn Ludwig, RDN, CEDS (She/Her/Hers)

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Tylynn Ludwig is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. She has a strong background in behavioral health and believes in identifying and addressing thoughts and behaviors that affect your nutrition choices.

She works with all types of disordered eating including clinical eating disorders (ARFID, AN, BN, and BED) as well as emotional eating and subclinical eating disorders. She approaches health from a holistic perspective and believes to find full healing, we must address all aspects of health: spiritual, emotional, physical, and intellectual.

Tylynn has a special interest in athletes. As a triathalete, she understands first-hand the importance of nutrition in performance sports and endurance. She aims to support athletes in harnessing the power of nutrition for performance and health so athletes can have longevity in their sport.

Her Why:

Tylynn was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in her late 20’s. Consequently, she has become an expert in living gluten-free as there is no cure for this disease and the only treatment is to follow a gluten-free diet. She believes any person diagnosed with Celiac Disease could benefit from nutrition coaching for further understanding of how to be gluten-free but also ongoing support for navigating a HUGE lifestyle change.

Training & Clinical Experience

Tylynn received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, completed her dietetic internship at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center, and completed a nutrition fellowship in ambulatory care at the San Francisco VA Medical Center.

Tylynn has worked at all levels of care treating disordered eating including inpatient, residential, PHP/IOP, and outpatient. She takes a weight-inclusive, non-diet approach to healing one’s relationship with food. She helps guide clients to be intuitive eaters and has experience working with various disordered eating concerns as well as chronic medical conditions. Tylynn believes that food is fuel, but it is also a source of pleasure, a way to connect with others, and that all foods can fit. Her favorite part about what she does is getting to know each individual client and witness the transformation of the recovery process.

Tylynn served as the Education Chair for the San Francisco Bay Area International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. In her free time, she enjoys being outside in nature, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new restaurants.
